Pluralsight has built a strong technical community serving developers globally. Members of the Pluralsight technical staff share a unique passion for software technology, with decades of collective experience in software development, research, writing, speaking, and professional training focused primarily on the various Microsoft development platforms. As MVPs in a variety of .NET technologies, our technical team influences and shapes the same technologies we teach; their work is recognized internationally as the place to turn for insight into the latest emerging and current Microsoft technologies.

Technical Staff

Aaron Skonnard

Aaron Skonnard is co-founder of Pluralsight, a premier Microsoft .NET training provider. Aaron has authored numerous Pluralsight courses in the areas of Azure (cloud computing), WCF, Web services, XML and BizTalk Server. Over the years, Aaron has written numerous articles, whitepapers, and books and he's a contributing editor with MSDN Magazine where he authored The XML Files and Service Station columns for years. Aaron frequently speaks at industry events including TechEd, PDC, and VSLive! Check out his blog at http://pluralsight.com/aaron/.


Dan Sullivan

Dan is a member of the technical staff at Pluralsight, where he heads up the SQL Server curriculum. Dan is also an independent consultant, author, and speaker. He likes data; pointy data, rectangular data, even data just lying around on the floor. He is a co-author of the book "A Developers Guide to SQL Server 2005". His articles have been published in MSDN Magazine and SQL Server Magazine and he has spoken at WinDev, Microsoft events, as well as to various developer groups.


David Starr

David Starr is a technical instructor with Pluralsight where he focuses on the Visual Studio platform, Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), agile software development and patterns and practices in .NET.


Eric Burke

Eric Burke is a member of the technical staff at Pluralsight, where he focuses on WPF and Silverlight. Eric is also a Principal Technical Yahoo! at Yahoo!, Inc., where he is a lead developer on the Yahoo! Messenger team. Since graduating from Purdue in 1994, Eric has been building software applications on Windows platforms. Eric is interested in all aspects of the .NET framework, but specifically WPF, Silverlight, and other client technologies.


Fritz Onion

Fritz is a co-founder of Pluralsight where he focuses on Web development with ASP.NET, Ajax, and Silverlight. Fritz is the author of the books 'Essential ASP.NET' and 'Essential ASP.NET 2.0' published by Addison Wesley. He is a regular speaker at industry conferences including the PDC, TechEd, and VSLive!. Microsoft recognizes Fritz as an MVP for his contributions to the ASP.NET community.


Ian Griffiths

Ian Griffiths is a member of the technical staff at Pluralsight, where he focuses on the presentation layer curriculum. Ian is also an independent consultant, developer, speaker, and author. He has written books on Windows Presentation Foundation, Windows Forms, and Visual Studio. He lives in London but can often be found on various developer mailing lists and newsgroups, where a popular sport is to see who can get him to write the longest email in reply to the shortest possible question.


Jerry Anderson

Jerry Anderson is a member of the technical staff at Pluralsight, where he focuses on BizTalk and SharePoint. He has been developing software since the 1980’s, programming primarily on Microsoft platforms in C, C++ and C#. Jerry has trained and mentored fellow developers though out his career. He began teaching in-depth technical courses in 2004, while continuing to work as an independent consultant.


Jim Wilson

Jim Wilson is president of JW Hedgehog, Inc. (www.jwhh.com) a New Hampshire-based consulting firm specializing in solutions for the Windows and Windows Mobile platforms. Jim has worked extensively with the .NET Framework and .NET Compact Framework since the original beta release of each. Jim writes frequently for MSDN online and has developed mobility and smart client curriculums for several organizations. As a speaker, Jim can be seen at Tech Ed, VSLive, Mobility & Embedded DevCon and WinDev.


Dr. Joe Hummel

Joe is a member of the technical staff at Pluralsight, where he focuses on High Performance Computing and .NET languages. Joe has been specializing in Microsoft technologies since 1992, and is well-versed in Microsoft's High-Performance Computing initiative (HPC Server, Compute Cluster Server, MPI, MPI.NET, OpenMP, PFx), web technologies (ASP.NET and Ajax Extensions for ASP.NET), the desktop (WinForms), LINQ, .NET Framework, and its most popular languages (VC++, C#, F# and VB).


Jon Fancey

Jon Fancey is a founder of Affinus, a UK-based consultancy focused on large-scale enterprise integration. In particular Jon is interested in BizTalk Server, Web services and associated technologies and standards. He has written for MSDN Magazine and Web site and talked at various Microsoft-focused conferences including TechEd. Jon is recognized by Microsoft as an MVP for his community contributions.


Keith Brown

Keith is a co-founder of Pluralsight with a focus on security and identity. Keith spends most of his time researching security techniques and technologies, and has spent a decade teaching and developing course material for professional software developers. Keith is a contributing editor for MSDN Magazine, and has authored several books for developers covering Windows security, ASP.NET, and COM. Keith has been recognized as a Microsoft MVP for several years.


Matt Milner

Matt is a member of the technical staff at Pluralsight, where he focuses on connected systems technologies (WCF, Windows WF, BizTalk, "Dublin" and the Azure Services Platform). Matt is also an independent consultant specializing in Microsoft .NET application design and development. As a writer Matt has contributed to several journals and magazines including MSDN Magazine where he currently authors the workflow content for the Foundations column. Matt regularly shares his love of technology by speaking at local, regional and international conferences such as Tech Ed. Microsoft has recognized Matt as an MVP for his community contributions around connected systems technology.


Mike Woodring

Mike Woodring is a member of the technical staff at Pluralsight. Mike is also an independent software consultant that develops for, writes about, and speaks on .NET technologies. He is particularly interested in runtime internals, multithreading, and speech-based application development. Mike is co-author of Win32 Multithreaded Programming and Debugging Windows Programs: Strategies, Tools, and Techniques for Visual C++ Programmers.


Scott Allen

Scott Allen is a member of the technical staff at Pluralsight, where he focuses on connected systems and Web development. Scott has over 15 years of experience in commercial software development and is a frequent speaker at national conferences, and local user groups. Scott is a Microsoft MVP and has authored books on several Microsoft technologies, including ASP.NET, C#, and Windows Workflow.


Scott Seely

Scott Seely is the president of Friseton, LLC, www.friseton.com. From 2002 to 2006, Scott was a developer on the WCF/Indigo team at Microsoft. Today, he is an active member of the .NET community in the Chicago area, helping lead the Lake County .NET Users’ Group, organize Code Camps, and speaking at user groups throughout the region. Scott has focused on distributed systems since 1995.

Specializing in large-scale web system implementation, Craig has written for MSDN Magazine and has spoken at conferences both nationally and internationally.


Dan Wahlin

Dan Wahlin founded The Wahlin Group which specializes in .NET, Silverlight and SharePoint consulting. Dan speaks at conferences and user groups around the world and has written several books.


David Cowles

David has developed large-scale, mission critical software for Windows, UNIX, and other platforms using C#, C++, and Java, targeting the government, banking, and manufacturing industries.


James Kovacs

James Kovacs is an independent architect, developer, trainer, and jack-of-all-trades specializing in agile development using the .NET Framework.


Janis Hall

Janis Hall (MCP NT 4.0 Workstation, MCP NT 4.0 Server, CNA Netware 3.12) combines more than 15 years of technical knowledge with business acumen when working with organizations on needs analysis and delivery for custom support models, and the design and implementation of collaborative sites.


John Brown

John has been developing software for 20 years. As the Founder and principal of Tritium Consulting, he has helped government agencies and international banks distribute and move their data around the world.


Julie Lerman

Julie Lerman is .NET mentor and consultant who lives in the hills of Vermont. You can find Julie presenting on data access and other Microsoft .NET topics at user groups and conferences around the world.


Kate Gregory

Kate is the author of over a dozen books and speaks at DevTeach, TechEd (USA, Europe, Africa), and TechDays, among others. Kate is the founder of the East of Toronto .NET Users group, and a member of adjunct faculty at Trent University in Peterborough.


Kent Tegels

Kent is an Adjunct Professor for Business and Computer Science. Since the 1980s, Kent has been building systems and educating his fellow developers, adminstrators and analysts.


Paul Lemmers

Paul Lemmers is a technical contributor at Pluralsight, where he focuses on security and AD FS in particular.


Rick Garibay

Rick is a developer, architect, speaker and author on distributed .NET technologies and is a Solutions Architect at Neudesic.


Rob Windsor

Rob Windsor has over fifteen years experience developing applications and teaching. He is a member of the INETA Speakers Bureau, a contrubutor to MSDN and TechNet, is a user group leader, an MVP, and is the co-author of Pro VB 2010 and .NET 4.0.


Russell Fustino

Russ Fustino is a highly experienced software developer with a passion for conveying relevant, current, and future software development technologies and tools through live seminars, teaching, and internet video productions.


Sahil Malik

Sahil Malik has been a Microsoft MVP for the past 8 years, author of several books and numerous articles in both the .NET and SharePoint space, consultant and trainer who delivers talks at conferences internationally.


Steve Evans

Steve Evans is an IT Pro with over 10 years of experience. He is a Microsoft MVP in Directory Services, a MCSE, and an accomplished speaker.


Yacine Khammal
