Read about it here - I thought I'd poisoned the acronym for good.

I have to say, the industry really seems out of control with all these vacuous terms.

Why not go all the way and coin the term we all know is next:

Architected Business Enterprise (ABE)

Modern enterprise applications are more complex than ever. As business needs change, the lack of architected solutions puts IT investments at risk and decreases ROI dramatically. The Architected Business Enterprise (ABE) is a proven approach to integrating the business needs of today's information worker with the software lifecycle, starting with the analysis of business capabilities all the way through to management and operations. ABE addresses the complexities of SOAs and ESBs by bringing the best of EAI and B2B disciplines into a cohesive end-to-end architecture that is suited to the adaptive enterprise.

I can't wait to see the ESB vs. ABE panels at tradeshows :-(
